PHR ECO 2024 changes now in effect

Starting with the 2024 update, HRCI expanded the PHR exam from 5 functional areas to 7. Employee Engagement (17%) and HR Information Management (10%) are now standalone domains. Employee and Labor Relations was reduced from 39% to 20%. Talent Planning and Acquisition was renamed Workforce Planning and Talent Acquisition. If your prep materials still reference 5 functional areas or list Employee and Labor Relations at 39%, they have not been updated.
