- › Bottom-left (both clear) = predictive works. Top-right (both unclear) = chaos, stabilize first.

It is a deliberate choice to combine approaches where each adds value. Predictive governance, agile execution. Or fixed scope phases with iterative delivery inside.

Tailor to organizational culture
A rigidly hierarchical organization may need predictive governance even on an agile project. The exam rewards tailoring over purity.
Hybrid still requires discipline
You do not get to skip change control OR retrospectives because "it is hybrid." Both sets of practices still apply within their domains.
Pick for fit, not ideology
The right mix depends on scope clarity, risk, and team experience. Tailor, do not ideologize.
No half-measures
A half-hearted agile layer over rigid governance just slows everything down. Hybrid means genuine combination.
You cannot iterate on a foundation. Pour it once, pour it right. That is predictive — fixed, sequential, well-defined.
